Rose Geranium essential oil is found in our Toner and Moisturiser. Our certified organic Rose Geranium is sourced from the Gauteng area in South Africa.

The genus Pelargonium comprises about 270 distinct species. Most of the known species are endemic to the Western Cape. Although this plant is indigenous to South Africa, it is widely cultivated in Egypt, India and China, and, to a lesser extent, in Central Africa, Madagascar, Japan, Central America and Europe.

When drunk with honey, Rose Geranium calms and soothes, as well as helping with sleeplessness. The tea is also drunk to treat a wide variety of digestive ailments.

THE FLORAL KINGDOM
Of the world’s six Floral Kingdoms The Fynbos Kingdom is the smallest, yet contains the most diversity per area unit. The extremely high diversity of fynbos plants is unique to this relatively dry area: over 9,000 species of plants can be found here, and roughly 6,200 of these are not found anywhere else in the world. Although the Fynbos comprises only 6% of Southern Africa’s land, it is home to half the species on the subcontinent, and nearly 20% of all plant species in Africa.
