Rooibos is found in our Cleanser, Exfoliant, Toner, Serum and Moisturiser. Our wild Rooibos is certified fair-trade and organic and sustainably harvested by farmers in the Cederberg.

Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) occurs naturally only in the Cederberg Mountains of the Cape Peninsula in South Africa.

Rooibos has been drunk as a hot tea by the Khoisan since the Late Stone Age. It has the same low tannin content as black tea, but offers higher levels of antioxidants and is caffeine-free.

CEDERBERG MOUNTAINS The Cederberg Mountain range is in the Cape Peninsula of South Africa and is named after the endangered Clanwilliam Cedar tree. Most of the vegetation on the mountains is Fynbos. In caves and overhangs throughout the area, San rock art is evidence of its earliest human inhabitants.
